Ive always been driven by the need to create. Defying a degree in Economics with a journey of storytelling, expression, and pushing boundaries.
As an award winning broadcaster covering global sporting events like the Olympics and Formula One, before producing television with Viacom Networks. Along the way, I discovered my voice – literally -building a prolific career as commercial voiceover artist, with a distinct vocal tone that that became my trademark. All while honing my craft as a DJ in Singapore’s thriving dance music scene.
In 2003, my band Electrico signed to Universal Music, topped charts, and led a new renaissance in the local music scene. Making history as the first rock band to compose Singapore’s National Day theme song in 2009 and the first Singapore band to feature at the prestigious SXSW festival in the states, amongst numerous other accolades. That chapter redefined what Singapore music could be, at home and abroad.
My love for film led me to immortalise Singapores cultural phenomenon MAMBO JAMBO with the documentary Blame It On The Boogie, and make my debut short film Thank You, Daisy, which premiered at the 2024 Singapore International Film Festival with nominations for best Southeast Asian Short, and Best Performance.
Through every chapter – music, voice, film, or beyond – I’ve stayed true to one story: a life led with passion and fuelled by love, with a wide berth always ready for the next creation.
